Flora

Flowers got me painting again. I felt so inspired by the shapes, colors, and forms they take that I had to pick up a brush. Flowers are at every major life event from birthdays and graduations, wedding and anniversaries, to hospital stays and celebrations of life. But they’re also there on a random Tuesday when a friend drops by or your sister remembers it’s been six months since that break up. Flowers bring beauty and life to an ordinary day reminding us of what once was or celebrating what’s to come. Flowers are what made me paint again and it feels like I’m on the path I’m supposed to be on. And for me, that’s worth celebrating.
